Hall Facilities
Drayton Village Hall dates back to the mid 70's and lies near the centre of the
village with good car parking and internal facilities.
The village of Drayton is 3 miles south of Abingdon and 5 miles west of Didcot.
The hall consists of a main hall, a smaller hall, a lounge bar and a kitchen.
The hall has disabled access, disabled parking and separate disabled toilet.
The hall is a licensed premises and Drayton Enterprises organizes the bar and
alcohol sales for events. Please let the booking secretary know if a bar is
required when the booking is made.
The main hall 15m long (excluding the stage) and 12m wide with a high ceiling
and a serving hatch to the kitchen.
The stage is 6m deep and 9m wide with a roped curtain and there is a full
lighting box with front, above and rear lighting. A piano is available.
An induction loop is available for use and the hall has amplified sound through speakers.
Handheld, static and radio microphones are available for use with this equipment.
The Small Hall is 8m by 8m and a further room alongside which is 8m by 3m.
The Lounge Bar is 6m by 6m and has bench and chairs for 40 people and low tables
The kitchen has two sinks, a fridge hobs and cookers.
There is a reasonable amount of hall crockery, but for large functions we recommend hiring
crockery and cutlery. The kitchen has serving hatches to the main hall and foyer.
The village recreation ground is alongside the Hall and there is a children’s
playground adjacent to the parking area.
